Fall Outerwear

For those of you who live in New England, you know that the last few days have been unseasonably warm... hello Indian summer! As far as I'm concerned, it can stay like this for as long as mother nature pleases. I cannot complain one bit as I know that before we know it, it will be as cold as could be and completely bundled up. Until then, I will make the most of these beautiful warm days that have been such a gift!

With that being said, eighty degree weather most certainly does not get you thinking about jackets and outerwear, however I'm sure by the time next week rolls around, we will be back to our quilted vests and denim jackets. I wanted to share some of my favorite fall outerwear selections, all of which I consider to be fall wardrobe staples. Not only are they great pieces for this time of year, but many of them will easily carry you into at least the beginning of winter if not longer. I know that my excursion vests are worn all throughout the winter, and you can simply never go wrong with a leather jacket.
