With Valentine's Day just a week away, I'm finding myself gravitating towards all things pink! This isn't completely out of the realm of normal for me as pink is one of my favorites, however I'm definitely feeling a bit more inspired to wear it as February Fourteenths gets closer!
To be honest, I often find myself reaching for lighter, brighter colors once February rolls around. At this point in the winter, I am just plain old tired of wearing dark colors and heavy pieces. Don't get me wrong, I love an all black ensemble, but I am more than ready for some lighter vibes! Of course the weather in New England won't allow us to break out the really good stuff quite yet, so I try to find ways to brighten the mood while keeping it seasonally appropriate.
These pink pants are something I purchased around Christmas time, but are much more in tune with this upcoming holiday! They have a relaxed fit, making them a more comfortable pant option, but the velvet and pink hue are keep them looking sophisticated and fun.
I love drawing inspiration from my environment and the goings on around me - holidays included! These pink pants are the perfect touch for February and for breathing some life back into our winter wardrobes!
